Auch in Thailand gibt es - in diesem Jahr bereits zum 5. Mal - eine Sudokumeisterschaft, zu der weltweit eingeladen wird. Hier ein Auszug aus der Mail der Veranstalter:
Dear Sir/Madam,
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 5th BRAND'S® SUDOKU Thailand International Open 2011, which will be held from June 25th – 26th, 2011 at Royal Paragon Hall ,Siam Paragon Shopping Complex in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. This is the 5th year that the event has been organized with over 1,000 players joining in.

Im Gegensatz zu der Sudokumeisterschaft in Peking steht diese Veranstaltung offensichtlich nicht mit der World Puzzle Federation in Verbindung.
