Is it enough to solely draw a path that runs through all cells in the grid from 1-49? I know it says alternate notations are accepted in general, but I would like to confirm this one.

Yes, it is sufficient to draw the path.

Keep in mind that either notation must be complete (all numbers or the full path from 1 to 49), half the numbers and half the path will not be accepted.
