I cannot understand the problems you have. The portal goes through the roof and everyone wants back the old times, when we waited for a single new puzzle several days.
Why don't we allow some active users to set tags? Then we could have correct lists with much less work than writing these posts here in this discussion.
I'm sure the relations authors/puzzles and puzzles/solvers will soon come close to the old level. Maybe we should place some ads in the portal and reduce the membership fees...
And why not ask the brilliant new authors for sudokus for the DSM? I'm sure, they would be happy to get even more attention there. And they could post them in the portal later anyway. And I suppose there are several new users from all over Europe, maybe they would be happy to meet each other at the DSM. Or at a Rätselwochenende.
We should make the best of the situation and not limit anyone, just be happy, that Berni's outstanding work enabled the portal to handle the 'flood', with some minor adjustments.
