I would just like to quickly throw my opinion into the ring as one of the newer people here (just under 2 months).
I saw a post by Richard today on a puzzle linking to here explaining to a newer creator about the number of puzzles. In his post he was incredibly reluctant to do so and apologetic.
I would just like to say that there is no need to be apologetic about it.
I was also one of the people who came in with a rush of puzzles (4 in 5 days) and had to be asked to slow down, and i'm really glad I was asked to do so. I really enjoy solving and occasionally creating puzzles and had no desire to have caused the negative effect being discussed here, and I imagine most new creators would agree with me.
So please don't feel bad about having to explain to newer creators that what they are doing is harmful to the forum, especially when the way you are explaining it to them (us) is polite and respectful.
