well, maybe Berni can use his magic and give us an option to choose either option (newest according to date or newest as is now, only one per author) in our userpages.
It would really make it much easier to avoid missing puzzles should an author want to 'flood' and put out more than 1 puzzle at a time
(Also, I would like to mention, I didn't mind Uwe and his bunch of puzzles, I rather saw it as a nice intermezzo, especially considering that it isn't bound to happen very often)
