Coordinate arrows, too https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/R...?id=00094G (although I'd prefer a different symbol than an arrow)

Or do I miss something? In case it's indeed only another presentation, it's not suitable for SVS.

I suppose silent killer is a bit different because of the "no repeat" rule

Welcome back! Some suggestions:
"Orthogonal beachcomber rules" - see Arvada: https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/R...?id=000FPF "Diagonal beachcomber rules" - see Biloxi: https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/R...?id=000FWV "First Hidden Skyscraper" - see Elevator Action: https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/R...?id=000J0E "Zipper Lines" have become very popular and have a lot of potential also. I made one too called World, a Tuning Fork: https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/R...?id=000H3J I don't know whether you've been gone long enough to have missed 'Look and Say Cages' or 'Psycho Cages' or their combination, called 'Psycho Look and Say'. They're very interesting. (I don't much care for the word 'Psycho' so I changed to 'Psychic') Bremster's first Psycho Killer puzzle: https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/R...?id=0006TI Look and Say Killer cages example: https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/R...?id=0007CP (inventor was djorr) Also available as Look and Say Little Killers: https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/R...?id=000HZJ (here combined with a constraint called 'Dutch Flat mates', which you also might consider) Finally, "Psycho Look and Say" which I think is an invention of dumediat. My example (combined with Rossini here): https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/R...?id=000HDY I don't know whether you could have Psycho Little Killers, or even Psycho Look-and-Say Little Killers... I haven't thought very hard about it!

I have my doubts about the beachcomber; it is almost the same as Watchtowers, with exception that the cell itself can't be 'seen' by itself here. In Watchtowers it does. The example is not clear to me by the way, since the digits that can be seen by the beachcombers are in ascending order. Now it also looks like internal skyscraper-clues. But actually they're not? Meanwhile I have a decent list of ideas for SVS. (And already about 10 fresh new ones in stock )

You're welcome to use as many or as few of these as you like of course. Glad to have you back.

I have been going through the portal myself too, and currently I have solved quite a lot of SVS-potentials and I have to arrange all first thoughts that crossed my mind while solving them. In other words: I have plenty of raw material, including a lot of the linked puzzles in this thread. Thanks for the suggestions! I am happy to have myself back as well. Lets set the mark for now at SVS500... |
