Thanks very much to LMD crew to had allow us, Italian sudoku-fans, to have our yearly Italian Championship.

Congratulation for the Championship: organization was wonderful as well as the sudoku. I'm not a "competitive" players but was a pleasure to solve sudoku today (virtually) with you.

Von mir auch vielen lieben Dank, es hat viel mehr Spß gemacht als erwartet (also an den Rätseln hatte ich nicht gezweifelt, aber die Atmosphäre bei mir im Wohnzimmer ist halt nicht die gleiche wie im Wettbewerbsraum - aber war trotzdem ein schöner Rätseltag).

Ist doch praktisch, dass der Rookie-Pokal in Berlin bleibt. Sobald es wieder Gastronomie gibt machen wir einen Stammtisch, dann wird Luisa das Ding endlich wieder los.

so it's over. Many congratulations to Michael for his n+2-nd Sudoku championship, to Maritin and Carsten for their podium finish but, besonders, many thanks to Logic Masters Deutschland for hosting  our Italian championship. As mentioned by somebody in another post a few weeks ago we asked to join  the DSM (we could not run our national championship in Verona as is was planned for obvious reasons)..Particular thanks to   Christian, Jörg Richard and to all the Sudoku authors for a fantastic day of frantic sudoku solving with diagrams of excellent quality. And yes, congraulations to Valerio, Valeria (it must be the name) and Giulia for their podium finish. Next year we will hopefully return to routine, in case somebody from LM will be willing to join us just let the organizers know, There is good beer even in Verona.   Bis 2021!!!

Vielen herzlichen Dank an die Autoren und besonders auch an Jörg. Sehr schöne Rätsel und auf die Ergebnisse musste man nicht warten.

Ich habe das Wiedersehen in Hamburg sehr vermisst, hoffe aber sehr, dass wir uns alle wiedersehen werden. Herzlichen Glückwunsch an die Erstplatzierten. Extrem gute Leistung von Dir Michael, ich ziehe den Hut.

Unser Nachwuchs hat sich ebenfalls super geschlagen, auch hierfür meine Glückwünsche. Besonders gefreut hat mich, dass neben den Qualizierten auch noch ein paar von der DJSM mitgemacht haben.

Ach ja: Bin am Mittag zum Gruppenfoto rausgegangen, aber da war niemand.

It wasn't quite the same as last year in Kirchheim, where you and me were literally sharing the same desk.... but I think it was still an intresting experience to work parallel on the same championship with all our Italian puzzle friends.

Last year, Saskia from the Netherlands suggested that we should look into organizing some European Events, where each nation could send more people (as its not that big a travel distance) and we would all get to know each other better. Maybe this Corono-corporation was a small first step in that direction.
