I would like to respond to that. I like your classification of Meta puzzles in A, B and C. For me the Magischer Rundweg was of the C-type; I started solving, without taking the Magic in mind. After a while I had some smaller parts of the loop finished and a few ideas about what the magic would be. Those ideas turned out to be wrong. But, while solving, I came almost to a full solution with just plain logic and (like always in Rundweg-puzzles) a lot of elimination. Still without knowing what was the Magic, it was pretty hard to solve. But I found a solution after being busy for a few hours. All the numbers in the grid where correct, I had used all of the given line-pieces, and the solution I found was wrong. That irritated me and that's why I wrote my comment. And, as I said before, only because Nils hinted earlier that an extra hint might be necessary.
The other Meta puzzles I still need to solve are the Knapp daneben Rundweg and the Es war einmal eine geheime schrift. The second is out of my mind, because of my lack of German. The Knapp daneben Rundweg is also still unsolved, and I had many ideas about it that where all wrong. Main difference with the Magic Rundweg is that without having the right idea, you don't even get started. So it doesn't lead to a lot of frustration, because the only effort that's in it, is thinking. I don't have a problem with that.
Conclusion: I classified the Magic Rundweg as C. Of course, when having the right idea it will turn into A. And I dislike C-puzzles; I don't have problems with Meta-puzzles in general. (But I wrote that before also.)
Now I am going to send an e-mail to Claudia with Twin Killer III
