... Wenn dann einige eifrige Löser auch nach mehrstündigem(?) Grübeln nicht dahinter kommen, so sollten sie dies als Motivation und Ansporn nehmen oder das Rätsel einfach mal liegen lassen. Was aber doch gar nicht geht, dass sich dann beim Autor darüber beschwert wird!!!! ...

I will write one more thing about it, then I quit. My opinion is just a point of view, most other reactions are different.

There are two additional reasons why I wrote my comment. First of all, the author of the puzzle himself hinted that extra information might be necessary:

Second: I had just done my twentieth (or so) unsuccesfull try on the Knapp daneben rundweg. By now it drives me mad that I haven't solved this one either. I promised myself a few times not to look at it again, but in spite of that, every time I pick it up again, think about it for a few minutes (or longer) and then put it away again. And that while I also have dozens of new ideas for new puzzles, and they are all delayed...
