Im Namen des Vorstands habe ich heute folgende Email an den niederländischen Rätselclub WCPN gesendet:
Mourning for Hns Eendebak
Dear dutch friends,
your message that Hns passed away is an extremely sad news for us. On behalf of the German national puzzle club I send you our sincere condolence. Hns promoted the topic of logical puzzles in so many ways, that his death is an immense loss for the global community of puzzle loving people.
Hns was for me personally a very important person in my development as a puzzelaar (I always liked this dutch word.). Unfortunately I never met him. For me and - as I know for sure - many others the Dutch magazines and especially BREINBREKERS have been a major path on our way into and through the world of puzzles including the optimizing puzzles. So I've been grateful for his activities for many years. When I learnt some years ago, that Hns was the inventor/developer/discoverer of Starbattle my respect for him grew even more.
