It should not be related because the notification mail content has not been translated yet...
Still, the notification mail functions are at the bottom of some big PHP file, and if I have introduced some syntax error further up it may be that these functions are not called. I did check, though, and I noticed nothing that looked wrong to me. I guess we have to wait for Berni to have a look.
