I had a lot of fun designing the puzzles for this contest. Unlike last year's Yajilin set, which was written over several months, I wrote this set within two weeks when I had some unexpected spare time during lockdown. I may post some comments about individual puzzles during the next couple of days. 
Any questions about puzzles/ solve paths etc are very welcome, as are comments and all kinds of feedback

Klasse. Hat Spaß gemacht. Wenn ich auch mein Arbeitszimmer auf kosmische Unregelmäßigkeiten untersuchen muss. In diesem Paralleluniversum war trotz mehrmaligem Nachrechnen beim Kakuro 7+8=16, was mir völlig logisch erschien. Erst später, außerhalb des Zimmers, hatte sich die Mathematik wieder geändert .
Die Rätsel waren von der Größe und dem Schwierigkeitsgrad sehr angenehm und es waren für mich ungewohnte Rätseltypen dabei (z.B. Offspring), die klasse sind.

Mir hats auch superviel Spaß gemacht. Da waren viele wunderschöne Rätsel und tolle Rätseltypen dabei. Aber grummel: dachte eigentlich, mir Fehleingaben abgewöhnt zu haben.

Für mich persönlich war der Wettbewerb sehr erfreulich, weil ich bzgl. meiner Rätselauswahl so ziemlich gar nix falsch gemacht hab und ohne einen großen Fehler beim Lösen durchgekommen bin. Kann ja mal passieren . Das war freilich nur möglich aufgrund der Menge und Vielfalt an Rätseln. Ich dachte vorher, dass ich mich weniger aus meiner Komfortzone der mir angenehmen Rätselarten entfernen müsste. Aber ich hatte doch genug Zeit, auch ein wenig ungewohnte Rätselarten angehen zu müssen, die mir sympathisch waren. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass das von Jonas beabsichtigt war.

Besonders gelungen - von den Rätseln, die ich im Wettbewerb bearbeitet habe - finde ich: Battleships, Japanese Railway, LITS und Quadro-Tapa
Beim Quadro-Tapa hatte ich nach den ersten Eintragungen primär rechts oben eine glückliche Idee für eine Fallunterscheidung: Z6S2 schwarz. Daraus ergab sich sehr viel und zum Glück der Rest. (Ok, also kann ich den "richtigen" Lösungsweg eigentlich gar nicht beurteilen.)

Und generell waren die Lösungswege klasse, also mit wenig Suchen für mich erkennbar und reizvoll.

Ich bin neugierig: Waren unter den Rätselarten Jonas'sche Neukreationen?

Die Rätsel haben schon beim Testen unheimlich vel Spaß gemacht, und im Nachhinein habe ich ein klein bisschen geflucht, dass ich im Wettbewerb nicht mitmachen konnte.

Kann mich nur den obigen Kommentaren anschliessen: Klasse Rätsel! Es hat riesig Spass gemacht und die Lösungswege waren, sofern ich sie sah , sehr schön! Danke!

Ich fand's auch klasse. Bei ein paar Rätseln muss ich noch mal drauf schauen wie das logisch ging. Insbesondere das Ende des Kakuros war bei mir sehr vage.

Wenn jemand Lösungen möchte: Ich habe eine Aufzeichnung meiner Teilnahme auf Youtube gestellt. Meistens sieht man sogar das Blatt. Nur Vorsicht bei Equality, das habe ich erst ganz am Ende repariert. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zMwOJnhSZM

Inspiration for the puzzles came (among other places) from Silke Berendes' Round for the 24HPC 2019 and the 123Go Round of WPC 2017.
It was surprisingly difficult to find suitable puzzle types for some letters. While there are unreasonably many types beginning with Y, for example, there is almost no puzzle that begins with an O, apart from Oasis and Offspring. As a result of the alphabet theme, the set included a few less popular types, but I think that all of them have a lot of potential and I would be happy to see more of those uncommon puzzles sometime
Inspiration for Islands, Offspring and Unequal Lengths Maze came from the mentioned WPC round. Japanese Railway is inspired by the fantastic set in Toketa Vol.7. Quadro Tapa is inspired by this puzzle, which uses all 15 possible patterns: https://www.gmpuzzles.com/blog/2017/12/t...as-snyder/.
Apperently it is also known as "Different Tapa" but I am not aware of more puzzles with this variant rule. I think the 2x2 areas add enough to the puzzle to make some more interesting puzzles, maybe someone will get inspired to write some?
