Hey all,
I've been watching CtC for a couple years now.
Just for the entertainment it brings me.
I am neither a solver, nor a setter.
I was very good at math in high-school, but never took it any further.
Even if I had, good math skills do not automatically translate into good logic skills.
My bent is more towards the creative. I began writing in late 2024.
I have several creative ideas for some sudoku puzzles, but I haven't the logic chops to set them.
I've certainly seen many of you setters be creative as well, and I'm not disparaging anyone on that point.
I need YOU. Not the other way around.
One idea is a new variant, I believe, that I call 'Foundation Sudoku'
I could be wrong of course. My only exposure to variant sudoku has been via CtC.
And I certainly have not seen every video.
I'm confident that many of will find it fun and challenging, including you setters.
So, I'm wondering if there are any setters out there willing to 'colab' with me.
That's only in quotes because I'm aware, that of the two of us, you would have the more challenging and time consuming part of the equation. You'd be doing the heavy lifting, no doubt. But I'm old, fat, and out of shape, so that's as it ought to be.
I also have a larger, macro idea that could also be a great deal of fun.
I truly hope someone is willing to take up the gauntlet. These ideas have been burning in my mind for over a year, leading to the occasional sleepless night.
You would also be helping my sanity.
