How do you allow users the place notes/digits outside of the grid - Merdock - 28.01.2026
I made a puzzle a while back, and someone recommended that I allow for players to place notes/digits outside of the grid. This is because I have skyscraper clues that you have to determine what they are.
I fully agree with this comment, but I'm not sure how to do this. Can anyone give me guidance on this. I primarily use sudokumaker.com to construct my puzzles, so my first guess is that I need to use the custom constraint feature, but I haven't used that before and I don't really know where to start with it.
