It has multiple rules and is encrypted, but maybe they can be used separately with numeric clues as well, I'm not sure.

While going through your list of published puzzles, I found one that is very suitable: Summed Rooms.
This type was in this year's WSC, and it was called Positional X-Sums. I made a practise puzzle for my team mates that was on the hard side (as practice puzzle
), so it's perfect as SVS.Funny that I found your puzzle as well a few days ago.

It occurs to me that you might enjoy ‘Top Heavy Parity Sudoku’ as well. Wherever two digits of the same Parity are vertically adjacent, the upper digit is larger than the lower one. This was used in the German Sudoku Championship 2022

In 2023 I published 5 sudoku puzzles with the "mountain" rule. Most were hybrids with other rules, but these 2 just used the mountain rule:

It wasn't on my radar yet. Currently I have a small stock (up to SVS #438) and was just about to check this forum post once more to add ideas to my list for the variants after that. So it is on my list, but have to solve it myself first.
