Will we receive copies of the instruction booklet, or should we print and bring our own?

You will get copies of the instruction booklets.

Will the seating for the World Cup be changed for the later rounds, so the eligible puzzlers are together or are we keeping the same seat through the whole tournament? If the latter, how will you make sure only the eligible puzzlers booklets are collected to be graded?

We will not change the seating - it would be too much of a hassle to change it back for the following regular individual rounds, for everyone.
If we accidentally collect booklets from competitors who were already eliminated in a previous round, that's no big deal. Before we start grading, we compare the names on the booklets with the names in the ranking list, so it should be easy to filter them out.

2 questions.
1) will the LM member wear badges with their nicks? It would be nice to put faces next to names, particularly when certain puzzle authors have given me long nights of very pleasurable puzzle solving in the last 11 years on the portal
2) one of our players, a student, asks whether you can provide a certificate of participation to be included in her school curriculum

All participants, guests and "staff" will ware the same Kind of Name tag. It will Show the Name, not the nick Name. But please go ahead and ask people for their nicks :-) Communication is much nicer then just looking at badges

We might think of something ... can you repeat the request with the name per mail (orga@wspc2019.de) please?

Regarding notation, if two different notations are globally used, one is complete but the other is not, is it valid or not?
For example, in dissection puzzle, what if dissection is complete but connecting lines miss a segment?
