Is is appropriate for a setter to edit offensive content?

When solvers begin arguing about items in a puzzle of mine, can/should I edit the comments so the argument does not continue? I foresee an argument regarding my puzzle "Novak Djokovic 400 Weeks at #1" about to happen.  Thank you. -Will Power

Editing comments has only been implemented to answer hidden questions. As many new users came to the puzzle portal, they started editing comments to respond to other comments. If there is really a reason to react, the mods should edit or delete.
