4th Open Serbian Optimizing Puzzle Championship

Strange! Nothing is written about gathering points for correct solutions and for a good ranking. Silent Last year we have s.th. like that :
There will be 10 optimizer problems in total, 5 per round. Each puzzle has a separate scoring system.
The contestants with the best solution receive 25 points, second best solution is worth 21 pts, ...18, ...16, the fifth 14, ...12, ...11, ...10, ....;
Finally 17th-ranked competitors get 1 point.
(Last year some authors wanted to be competitors too, so there was the rule best four of six; isn't this year?), so : in each round, competitor's points will be the sum of all his five results ?
Georg

Well, it is in pdf with puzzles, on first page:

"In every puzzle best result gives 25 points, second 21, third 18, and then 16, 14, 12, 10, 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2 and 1 point. The winner is the contestant with the most points. If two competitors have same amount of points, one with more solutions with 25 points will get higher rank. If that is same we will look for solutions that gives 21, 18... points. If everything is identical, the solutions receiving time will be considered."

So, same as before.
What is new, competitor's points will be the sum of all his five results.

We are close to deadline. Don't be late.

Table with sent solutions will be available soon.

Hi,

Thanks guys (Milovan and Jovan) for creative set of first weekOk. I'm looking forward to see the second week's set (like others). And also thanks for sharing the ratings and results so immeadiatelySmile. By this way we can see all fascinating solutions and good ideas. This year I was expecting more participation (maybe more than 50)Sad. Because we had really nice tasks to deal and also the utilizing programs for score calculation (which may be troublesome for some tasks). Maybe the participants may increase with the 2nd week...

Regards,

ZaferByebye
