I do sometimes place puzzles in my favourite's list (though occasionally I forget to add some). I think some user's also use the favourite's list to bookmark puzzles they want to return to and solve (which can be handy given the current rate at which puzzles are being activated). I think it would be a nice feature for the Advanced Search function, if one can search for puzzles based on how many user's have placed it in their favourite's list.
